The Lovie Awards / Lovie Letters: Dr. Sue Black
The Lovie Awards honoured Dr. Sue Black with a Lovie Lifetime Achievement Award at the 8th Annual Lovie Awards in London, in recognition of her pioneering contributions to the Internet and computing culture. From her efforts to save Bletchley Park and preserve a crucial piece of codebreaking history, to serving on the government’s digital advisory board, Dr. Black is inextricably intertwined with the preservation and progress of the Internet across the UK and throughout the world. What’s more, with BCS Women and #TechMums, she has also consistently used her position to help other women and reduce harmful gender disparity in science and technology.
